The Green River Ride is ideal for the whole family and has been for 33 years. Hosted by the Utah Trail Machine Association (UTMA) participants of all ages are invited to attend. Staging is at White Wash located twenty-six miles SE of Green River, Utah. The gathering of families and friends creates a delightful atmosphere for all in attendance. Seasoned veterans enjoy renewing friendships with stories and memorabilia of past Wash rides while rookies make new acquaintances.
A variety of terrain presents exciting trails for dirt bikes and ATVs alike. There will be those in attendance who can direct new-comers on accessing trails in the area.
The following trails have been identified by the BLM:
*TENMILE WASH (50 miles): Ride to end of Tenmile Wash exiting Red Wash Trail to Tenmile Canyon area and on to head of Tenmile Wash. Ride the Wash to Green River. PLEASE be aware that there are areas of the Tenmile Wash closed to motorized recreation.
*CRYSTAL GEYSER (50 miles): Ride to, and back from Green River north of White Wash. Ride a variety of terrain and enjoy the scenery. Steve Milner
*HEY JOE MINE (88 miles): Ride Rainbow Rocks Trail to Dubinky Well Road, and on to Hey Joe Mine taking Spring Canyon Trail descending down Spring Canyon north of Bowknot Bend to old uranium mine.
*SCENIC RIDE (50 miles): Experience a challenging route throughout immediate area. This includes famous Dead Cow Wash and The Tubes. Return by way of Mary’s Trail.
*MONITOR & MERRIMACK ROUTE (100+ miles): Includes travel via Rainbow Rocks Trail stopping to explore dinosaur bones. Travel to dinosaur tracks and other spectacular views. A gas stop can be made at the Moab Airport. One can plan on taking a sack lunch.
*QUADS: Take a fun route from camp meandering throughout the immediate area including sand dunes. This terrain is great for beginners.
*PRIVATE PROPERTY
There are 1400 acres of land in the White Wash area that are owned by Curtis and Keri Rosmund. PLEASE respect their private property as well as public property.
ACCOMMODATIONS
CAMPING at WHITE WASH: Camping is on scenic, flat, barren terrain with no permanent facilities or water.

DIRECTIONS TO WHITE WASH STAGING AREA-
Travel east 15 miles from Green River on Interstate 70 to Ranch Exit 173. Travel south on Ruby Ranch/Floy Wash road to White Wash approximately 12 miles from Ranch Exit. Watch for BLM signs.
AFTERNOON
Ride a variety of terrain surrounding the Wash on your own or just visit.

Socializing and maybe dinner at Ray’s Tavern

Find out about the challenging Dead Cow Wash extending to the Green River and
