-Grand Canyon National Recreation Area-

2007 Ride Route and Schedule

Update from Ride:

To: Grand Canyon Riders,

Hey, hope all of you got home all right. We were sorry that so many missed out on Saturday's ride. Breakfast at the Bar-10 Ranch was to die for. And we had a marvelous time riding over to Whitmore Point and Parashant Canyon view point. We put in just over 50 miles before returning to Bundyville shortly after noon.

And a few comments:
Paul Smith, may your big toe heal; Scott, may your arm pain subside and your bike's radiator core be repaired back to normal; Lech, may your sprinkler head never need another repair; Gary, may you ride down next time with someone who will stay the duration of the ride; Jason, hope you got your dad (Dale) safely on his bicycle Saturday morning with no blown radiator hoses. Why he would choose a pedal bike over the real thing had some of us befuddled; Roy, we hope you get your bike repaired--up and running; and perhaps, Roy, you can sit down with your son, Ryan, one of these times and go over the basics of changing out a front tube without pinching it with the tire irons; hope Al and Patrick got over to Page, AZ all right through the Mt. Trumbo road and were able to get their "investment" up and running on Lake Powell--oh, and Al, could you pick up another riding outfit for Patrick--the one he choose was, well, just too "bright"; and we hope you, Charlie, got back to Mesquite all right on your KTM Adventurer not withstanding the two-stroke gas that you borrowed from Scott. And may we all learn to turn on the gas petcock to the Bundy home generator next year before trying to fire it up!

It was nice to see each of you and meet new friends. We hope to do this ride again next year during September.
