Mountain View Wyoming Bad Lands - 2006 This year's ride will consist of a 50 + mile challenging trail ride through varying terrain and altitude. It is recommended that no bike smaller than a 250cc come on the ride because of some of the hill climbs. Depending on the turn out we may extend the ride to 80 + miles. The temperture can change without warning so bring a trail jacket, lunch, and you must be able to do 60 miles with your stock tank or bring extra gas. It is primitive camping but wide open, similar to Hanksville. The town of Mountain View is within 10 miles. There is lodging in Ft. Bridger and food, gas, etc. in Mountain View. Come for some excellent riding. I hope to see you there. Directions from Salt Lake: I-80 East 30 miles past Evanston Take Ft. Bridger/Lyman exit and stay to the right Go through Ft. Bridger to 4 way flashing stop Turn Right and through Mountain View and stay left 6.6 miles after the Maverick station Mile marker 105/12 turn right (second mile marker 105 I don't know why there are 3) Dirt road with cattle guard (sometimes can be rough) Follow for approximately 2 miles until you come to the mountain and turn left in front of the hills and follow approx. 300 yards should run you right to camp.
