This section of Buckhorn Wash Road is typically a well-maintained bladed county road. The approximate 13+ miles on Buckhorn Wash Road to the Cane Wash cut off will take around 25 minutes for a standard vehicle and 45 minutes for a vehicle towing a trailer or RV's.

From the Cane Wash cut off to Base Camp:

This travelable 5.5 mile section is not maintained and will take a standard vehicle 20 minutes and a vehicle with tow 45 minutes to reach base camp.

Total Time From Green River to Base Camp:

Plan on two hours with a half hour of staging time. Add more time for bad weather or large vehicles.
